Zepay today: MVP & roadmap

Zepay today is an MVP with a small taste of yield and a strong proof of concept. There is no funding, no token, and no large team behind it – just the belief that this UX model should exist.

What v1 is

• Gasless USDC wallet on Sonic.

• Email‑only login, no seed phrases.

• Non‑custodial SmartAccount + PersonalVault per user.

• Simple Aave yield on USDC (Earn) with clear fee logic.

It is intentionally small and focused so the foundation can be battle‑tested before more features are added.

What the model could support next

The architecture opens the door to many future directions, for example:

• Additional, battle‑tested yield sources.

• CCTP integration to onboard USDC from other chains.

• Expanding the same UX to other L2s/L1s.

• Sending via email or phone, not just @handle.

• Native Android & iOS apps.

• Bank/card funding, off‑ramps, and possibly debit cards.

These are possibilities, not promises. The priority is to move slowly, validate each step and keep the core non‑custodial guarantees intact.

No token, no rush

There is no token planned for Zepay. No airdrop games, no farming meta, no “soon”. The best way to support the project right now is:

• Use the product.

• Give honest feedback on UX, speed and clarity.

• Report anything that feels confusing or unsafe.

In the meantime, make sure you export and safely store your Privy EOA key from the settings section in the Zepay app. That is your ultimate safety net – even if Zepay or Privy or both go down, your funds remain yours.

Zepay is a live experiment to prove that Web2‑grade UX and true self‑custody can coexist. Everything else – features, integrations, expansion – comes after that core promise.
